One of these allied groups is the Grandis. While you’ll meet a few in your time playing, only one of them will trade with you.
But before you can get a look at the products the Grandis Merchant has to offer, you’ll need to retrieve a special item for him, dubbed Eternal Ice. How To Find Eternal Ice in Clair Obscur Expedition 33
There’s only one way to get Eternal Ice in the game, which is to fight and defeat the boss named Gargant. You’ll find Gargant in the Frozen Hearts region. Follow the steps mentioned below to reach Gargant easily.
Gargant has fire and ice stances. When he’s in the fire stance, he’ll be weak to ice attacks, and he’ll rejuvenate health with fire-based ones. In his ice stance, he’ll be weak to fire but strong against ice attacks. Keep in mind that Gargant will change stances when he’s attacked by one or the other elements. For instance, if he’s in the ice stance and you attack with a fire attack, his stance will change to fire, and vice versa.
Defeating Gargant gives you the Eternal Ice item, alongside Pictos and some Grandiose Chroma Catalysts.
