Baldur’s Gate 3 Showcase Reveals
On Friday July 7th, with less than a month left until the PC launch of Baldur’s Gate 3, Larian Studios broadcast their finalPanel From Hell Livestream. The developers shared a lot of new and exciting features which will be available when the game released on PC/Mac on August 3 and later on September 6 for Playstation 5.
A new class will be available, along with three corresponding subclasses. Two new races will arrive in the game at the same time, and several new gameplay features that will give players a lot of new options. Read on for a quick overview of all the new details!

The Monk class will be coming to Baldur’s Gate 3 at launch! Monks are agile hand-to-hand melee fighters, with a speed and dexterity that gives them a powerful advantage against hulking, brute foes.
The Monk class will feature three subclasses as well:
There are two new races which will also become available to players at launch. First up is the Half-Orcs. According to Dungeons & Dragons lore, half-orcs often feel emotions physically. Rage increases their heart-rate and makes their bodies burn, sadness literally saps their strength, and love floods them with the desire to perform great acts of compassion.
Additionally, and probably more highly anticipated, are the Dragonborn!
A proud race that values clan and skill above all else. Once enslaved by dragons, they strive to be self-sufficient, not wanting to be beholden to anyone, not even the gods.
This race will have ten sub-races, the most of any race introduced to the game so far:
