During an interview withThe Hollywood Reporter, actorAndrew Garfieldadmitted he has no more information to share with the fans after his hilarious tricks convincing people that he has no participation inSpider-Man: No Way Home. The actor stated:
“No update from me. No one’s going to believe anything I say ever again. That’s my problem.”

He also confessed he would like to team up again with his fellow Spider-Man actors. For Garfield, the trio has some sort of chemistry:

TheSilenceactor echoed the same thoughts when he reflected on the character of Peter Parker viaVariety:
“He’s a working-class boy from Queens that knows struggle and loss and is deeply empathetic. I would attempt to borrow Peter Parker’s ethical framework in that, if there was an opportunity to step back in and tell more of that story, I would have to feel very sure and certain in myself.”
Now that Garfield refuses to share any updates about the possibility of his return inThe Amazing Spider-Man 3, fans can only hope that this is another funny trick of the actor.

Andrew Garfield Had So Much Fun Lying ToSpider-ManFans
Andrew Garfield admitted he enjoyed deceiving people when he said he was not inSpider-Man: No Way Home. Although he hates the act of lying, he looks at it as a game. He explained toTheWrap:
“It was rather stressful but also weirdly enjoyable. It was like this massive game of Werewolf that I was playing with journalists and with people guessing, and it was very fun. There were moments where I was like, ‘God, I hate lying.’ I don’t like to lie, and I’m not a good liar, but I kept framing it as a game.”
Interestingly, Garfield said he would definitely want to be lied to and later find out the truth when he’s already watching the movie in the theatre. The thrill of it makes up for the deception.
“I would want the actor to do an incredibly good job at convincing me he wasn’t in it. And then I would want to lose my mind in the theatre when my instinct was proven right. That’s what I would want. I was happy to do it, but it was a lot of work on everyone’s part.”
At this point, the only thing fans want more than anything is an announcement on the possible third sequel toThe Amazing Spider-Man, so better keep your eyes peeled and stay tuned for more updates!
