The various MCU series have been something of a mixed bag. While some have been truly amazing, others have seemingly missed the mark and disappointed fans entirely. Expectations have varied drastically from one project to the next, and some series have surprised fans entirely. But which is the best, and which is the worst? We’ve compiled the definitive ranking of every MCU series on Disney+, from worst to best.

MCU DISNEY+ SERIES RANKED
14Secret Invasion
This one came as a surprise, and it wasn’t a pleasant one.Secret Invasionwas a highly anticipated entry in the long-running MCU franchise. For the first time, fan-favorite actor Samuel L. Jackson would be leading his own story as Nick Fury, and he’d be doing so in an adaptation of one of Marvel’s coolest comic book story arcs. Unfortunately for viewers, the series completely wasted the fantastic premise and delivered a dull, predictable and surprisingly boring series. Samuel L. Jackson seems completely uninterested in the material and turns in one of the laziest performances of his career. What a shame.
13The Falcon and the Winter Soldier
Before he was Captain America inCaptain America: Brave New World,Sam Wilson was still the Falcon and struggling with the responsibility of holding the shield.Fanfare forThe Falcon and the Winter Soldierstarted somewhat strong. Viewers were excited to see what happened following Captain America passing his shield and superhero persona off to Falcon afterAvengers: Endgame. The series starts strong, showcasing amazing visuals and high ambitions, but as time went on, the plotlines dragged and became less cohesive. In the years following its release, its reputation has floundered, and it remains one of the weakest entries on the list.
12Agatha All Along
Kathryn Hahn is undeniably great, and her performance as Agatha Harkness inWandaVisionwas a highlight of the very first MCU series to air on Disney+; however, that magic (pun intended) didn’t cross over into her own series,Agatha All Along, which aired in 2024. The show couldn’t escape the massive shadow of its predecessor and struggled to maintain a tone. It was often cringy, occasionally fun, but ultimately unnecessary.
11What If…?
What If…?just may be the most divisive series that Marvel has put out. The animation is fantastic, and while some of the ideas that are adapted are entertaining, others seem to miss the mark. The trouble with anthology media is that they are often a mixed bag, andWhat If…?was no different.
10Moon Knight
Oscar Isaac brings the fan-favorite character ofMoon Knightto the small screen in his first live-action appearance. With Isaac in the lead role and Ethan Hawk playing the villainous part of Arthur Harrow, the show seemed perfectly suited to be a homerun for Marvel. However, some viewers critiqued the often cheesy nature of questionable performances, making this another divided entry in the franchise.
Echo, a spinoff ofHawkeye, continues the adventures of the deaf Marvel hero as she seeks vengeance. The series boasts a few strong action sequences and a standout performance from Alaqua Cox, reprising her role fromHawkeye. Though it arguably got weaker as the show went on, there are still some exceptional moments, and the creators should be lauded for casting a deaf actress in the leading role.

8I Am Groot
Okay, so this onebarelycounts, but it’s just too adorable to ignore.I Am Grootfollows the lovable Baby Groot through several minor adventures in a series of vignettes. It’s nearly entirely void of dialogue, and the younger iteration of theGuardians of the Galaxyteam member is often the only character on screen. It’s a breezy watch with each episode averaging around four minutes, and it’s entertainment that the whole family can enjoy.
Often considered to be a mid-level series,Hawkeyedelivered exactly what you’d want from the character. It’s simple, it’s fun, and best of all, it introduces Hailee Steinfeld as Kate Bishop. While there was nothing Earth-shattering about the series, it delivered the goods in a tightly paced, action-packed story that saw the return of Vincent D’Onofrio as Kingpin. What’s not to love about that?

6Ms. Marvel
Ms. Marvelwas a series unique in its execution. It arguably had a different target audience than most of the other MCU entries, with a more kid-friendly delivery. But it perfectly captured what it would be like to be a child living in a world of superheroes. With an introduction like this, fans were excited to seeKamala Khanmake her big-screen debut inThe Marvels. Unfortunately, that movie wasn’t as well-received by fans.
5Ironheart
Riri Williams made her MCU debut as a supporting character inBlack Panther: Wakanda Forever, a strong sequel that suffered from the absence of Chadwick Boseman. InIronheart, she gets the opportunity to shine in the lead role. It’s one of the MCU’s most effective and character-focused stories. It has heart, humor, and a compelling ensemble.
4She-Hulk: Attorney At Law
Yep… I said it.She-Hulk: Attorney at Lawwas awesome. A complete left-turn from the traditional expectations of an MCU entry,She-Hulkacted as a hilarious sitcom set within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Sure, some of the CGI was questionable, but that’s to be expected with this large of a CGI undertaking. Fans got to see the return of Hulk and Wong, the reintroduction of Daredevil, and, perhaps, the greatest Marvel character of all time… Madisynn, “With two N’s and one Y, but not where you thiiiiiink.”
3WandaVision
The first MCU Disney+ series fans got to see wasWandaVision. The first several episodes were unique, acting as stereotypical versions of classic sitcoms from varying eras. And honestly, that was enough for me, I declared right then and there that I’d watch an MCU sitcom even if we ever got one (thank you,She-Hulk).Aside from a pretty dreadful finale that fell flat, this series proved that MCU television could work and it could work well.
2Daredevil: Born Again
Charlie Cox’sDaredevilmade his triumphant return inShe-Hulk: Attorney at Law, and his small cameo inEchowas the highlight of that series. But histruereturn to form was inDaredevil: Born Again, which saw the hero back in action and facing off against his archnemesis, Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio). Although it was less focused on action than its predecessors,Born Againallowed audiences to gain a better understanding mental and emotional strain that comes with being The Man Without Fear.
The first live-action MCU series to get a second season wasLoki, and it’s for good reason. The villain turned ‘s for good reason. The villain-turned-anti-hero is a charismatic joy to watch, and the second season is a huge improvement over the already excellent first. It launched the MCU into the Multiverse through its use of the TVA, branching timelines, and, of course, He Who Remains. It’s a voyage through the multiverse in a high-stakes, rapid-paced adventure that is, in simple terms, awesome. Its reliance on Kang the Conqueror hasn’t exactly aged well as the franchise has veered away from the villain, but that’s okay. It’s still one of the best things to come out of Marvel post-Endgame.
