This year has been a major year for Microsoft and Xbox as they have been refining one of the best deals that are currently available to gamers, and that is Game Pass. There have been a lot of changes to Game Pass this year as prices are changing, options are being removed, options are being changed and merged into each other, and just general content is being shifted around, but now thatStarfieldis releasing very soon Microsoft have made a change to Game Pass which could make a huge impact forStarfield.

What changes are coming to Game Pass?
Over the past year, Game Pass has gone through numerous changes to its subscription options that is has slightly become confusing and hard to keep track of; at the beginning of the year, Game Pass went through some changes with its trial method as many gamers were confused that this option wasn’t free, but then when it came to March this Game Pass option was removed entirely.
Until recently, many gamers weren’t expecting to see a Game Pass trial method return, but many are happily surprised as this trial method has made a return just in time for the release ofStarfieldon the 6th of September and is currently set at £1 for a 14-day trial period. Due to this change regarding the trial of Game Pass, many gamers are both excited and confused as initially, this trial used to be a whole month but has now been halved into a 14-day trial, but there is also the circumstance that if the player doesn’t cancel their subscription before the trial is up they will be forced to pay the total price due to recurring billing.
Many gamers will jump at the chance for this cheap trial, especially during the release ofStarfield, as players will be able to purchase Game Passes Ultimate edition for a trial period with the price being £1, which will give them access to the Ultimate editions features like instant access toStarfieldwithout needing to download it, which will give players even more time to enjoy the upcoming game, but unless players have a lot of time to spare 14-days won’t be enough time to explore the whole game giving them more reason to continue their subscription to Game Pass.

Why will these changes affect Starfield’s release?
Many gamers who are looking to playStarfieldare currently being presented with two different options for them to access this upcoming release, and those choices are paying the total price for the game and playing it leisurely or paying for a subscription to Game Pass and gaining instant access toStarfieldon day one release. Either way, gamers will be able to enjoyStarfieldand are able to explore the galaxy in Bethesda’s upcoming title.
Due toStarfieldbeing active on Game Pass on day one of its release, many gamers will be very silly if they don’t use Game Pass to accessStarfieldand, if anything, use this updated trial period to see if they enjoyStarfieldbefore they pay the total price for Game Pass or pay for the entire game in general, either way, this will helpStarfieldgain a bigger reputation and develop a larger player base as many gamers who have already purchased Game Pass will be looking forward to jumping intoStarfieldat release.
