Mark Wahlberg is an actor that has always boasted a highly muscular physique. With the actor getting older day by day, Wahlberg revealed that he has given up the intensive regime of workouts that he used to follow for a more lenient workout routine.

Stating the importance of resting and cold baths, Mark Wahlberg seems to be adhering to Joe Rogan’s advice of taking ice/cold baths to revitalize the body. Wahlberg also stated that instead of a 7-day workout routine, he now rests for 2 days.

In a recent interview withFox News Digital,theTed 2actor talked about how old age has affected his exercise and his physical health. During his prime, Wahlberg used to work out twice a day, 7 times a week but after the change, the actor only works out once a day and 5 times a week.

Talking about the situation and stating that mental relaxation is as important as physical relaxation, Wahlberg shared that he doesn’t recover the way he should after he sustains any injury!

“I mean, look, I just, you know, get more and more injuries and not recovering the way I should. There’s no reason why anybody, never mind somebody at 52 years old, needs to be training, seven days a week and then doing two a days.”

“You’re just putting a pounding on your body and recovery, you know, God has given us the best possible gifts. One of them is sleep right to recover and to heal and also even cold water.”

And with the actor mentioning cold water, people realized thatMark Wahlbergmay have heard Joe Rogan’s words on taking a cold bath every day in the morning.

The American podcaster with a million fans, Joe Rogan has created quite a fanbase and controversies through his podcast,The Joe Rogan Experience.In anInstagrampost, the podcaster shared that he loves taking cold baths in the morning and it has helped him a lot.

“My body feels so good. My soreness that was generally just an ordinary part of my everyday life, a massive amount of that has disappeared… Sauna and cold plunge routine that I do, it has made a giant difference and it just makes me feel great”

The same sentences reverberated in Mark Wahlberg’s statements about taking cold baths as the actor shared that his body too feels great.

“The feeling that you have, it’s pretty good. It’s definitely something that I look forward to in the morning, not necessarily getting in, but the feeling I have after for sure.”

Although Wahlberg may have reduced his exercise, the actor should surely never lose his muscular physique. The actor’s upcoming magnum opusThe Family Planhas already been hyped up by people around the world as Wahlberg’s assassin-turned-family man movie is slated for a release date of 08 June 2025 on Apple TV+.
